She portrayed Tasha Yvette Henderson in The WB sitcom Smart Guy from 1997 to 1999. She went on to play Dee Dee Thorne on UPN’s Half & Half (2002-06), Suzanne Kingston-Persons on TBS’s Are We There Yet? (2010-13), and Ashley Wayne on NBC’s Marlon (2016-18).
